Your Impact at Arrakis
The mission of Arrakis Therapeutics is to extend small molecule drug discovery into new realms of biology by discovering and developing compounds that selectively target RNA. By targeting specific RNA structure/function relationships, Arrakis will generate drug candidates with novel mechanisms of action for high-value molecular targets that are challenging to address via traditional approaches in therapeutic indications with high unmet medical need.
High-throughput mass spectrometry for quantitative compound RNA binding assays and quantitative proteomic-based mechanism of action assays are core platforms at Arrakis. The candidate will be integral part of the Biophysics team and be required to have a broad knowledge of mass spectrometry as applied to RNA characterization, small molecule screening, PKDM and proteomic applications in order to support and expand the company’s capabilities in the near term and future.
